Rude to customers
I really don't get the hype. It's okay. But not worth 5 Min wait not to mention the hours on warm weekends. I've had the secret breakfast. It was a novelty. But you could get the same effect if you pour real bourbon on your ice cream.
MoreBest selection of yogurt - and its kosher - on the beach. Lots of toppings to choose from and the fresh squeezed OJ is the cherry on top. Coffee is available too - service was excellent and the place is clean ;)
MoreFresh inward cream with fruide and sone staff.
A very solid 4 stars! The line was a bit long but wasn't too bad. the group got a mint chip cone, thai tea macaron sandwich, cookies and creme macaron sandwich, red velvet sandwich, and a chocolate coconut icecream bar. Everything was good the the icecream bar was the least fav, and the red velvet was a bit on the sweeter side of what i like but none the less delicious. One suggestion: I would love a macaron sandwich with chocolate and hazelnut!! PLLLLZZZZ
MoreWelcome to overrated.Marketing, trendy digs and a catchy name help propel this place into the orbit of nearly 5 stars. They have a charisma and style that is designed for success. I like it. It's a wonderful place. But Milk doesn't offer a stellar product. It's good. It's fairly reliable and have a few unique twists & offerings but the quality is not superb. I've had a few of their none signature pastries and have felt fairly happy afterwards. I've had their blueberry cake which was yummy and fun but nothing to stand in line over. You pay a premium for the style and the hype and in the end you get a yummy product that probably could've been had at another reasonable competitor that didn't have the budget for the sweet presentation.
MoreLove this place I go every time I'm in Venice yogurt is delicious places always clean. The employee I forget her name but she has glasses and bangs dark hair she was very helpful and had a smile on her face I would definitely 100% recommend to a friend
MoreThe ice cream was okay but the prices here are extremely high
There is so many innovative flavors to choose from. I absolute favorite was ginger. The ice cream had a very strong ginger flavor. Definitely sample it before going for it. Wasabi is another spicy flavor of ice cream. I just sampled it. It was way too spicy to enjoy as an ice cream flavor. Glad I sampled it and rejected it. Sesame flavor was very nice as well. Pistachio almond was also nice. I had some nuts in it. I went with the waffle cones. Waffle cones are their signature product as well.
MoreWe have gone a couple of times now and have tried several of the Macaron Ice Cream sandwiches. We enjoyed the coconut one and the strawberry one the most. The ice cream in those compliments the cookie shell rather than overpowering it. They taste incredibly fresh and light. Delicious. Macaron Ice Cream sandwiches tried but not in love with: Red Velvet (rather plain tasting), Caramel (flavor of the ice cream overpowered the cookie), Blueberry Crumble (too cloyingly sweet), Mint (flavor of the ice cream overpowered the cookie).
MoreThis place has fantastic ice cream and the owner was so kind to us. I got two large scoops for 4 dollars which is great value! It is unpretencious and welcome atmosphere. I will return whenever I am in the neighbourhood.
MoreGreat yogurt! Excellent selection and toppings, a little pricey I'd you're not paying attention to the weight of the bowl.
MoreI try to get adventurous and attempt to get fancy things here, but I always just walk out with a single scoop of icecream because it is too good to pass up. So if you like ice cream that has super dense and awesome consistency, hit this place up.
MoreCan I just say that this is my favorite dessert place in Venice. The blue velvet cake was to die for and not to mention the ice cream macaron sandwich was amazing as well. I got the grasshopper which is mint chip ice cream with green macaron buns. And not to mention this place is right across Blick Art Materials, I am able to enjoy amazing desert and shop for some art supplies conveniently. :)
MoreTake a pic of your macaron ice cream sandwich and I can guarantee at least 10 "likes" on Instagram. These sandwiches look good and taste even better! I came here on a Friday night at 8:30. We didn't have to worry about paying for a meter and found parking a few blocks away on beverly. If you are parking in the neighborhood, read the signs... Is it worth the ticket? They also have a parking lot. Their website has details about that. The line wrapped around the building but only took 30 mins. They have about 4 tables outside but the rotation was pretty good, no loiterers, so we didn't have a problem snagging a seat after getting our ice cream. I preferred my husbands cookies and cream sandwich over the watermelon. They were out of the mint chip so I shall return to try that one. The sandwiches were $5 and worth it! Check their hours, they are open later for the summer.
MoreThe yogurt was Good but it was 4.66 Just for 4 or 5 bites definitely not worth it crazy overpriced even for Venice beach
MoreWonderful selection of yogurts and toppings. Can't wait for them to bring the mango sorbet back - it's fantastic. It'd be awesome if there was more seating available and if there were signs pointing to where the yogurt cups were. They're all the way in the back, which was confusing to me the first time I went. At any rate, I've been back since then. :)
MoreYou better be really craving this stuff. Waited in line for some macaroons while my friend walked across the street to Brick Art Materials to pick up a few supplies. Took her about 20 minutes or so to come back and guess what? I was still waiting in line. Move about three feet since then. She was shocked as well to see me still standing in line. One register is not enough for this place, but due to the small size, don't think they could fit another one anywhere. My favorite is their grasshopper (Mint Chip). My friend had their red velvet, which is popular seller. There are a few seats in side and outside. Unfortunately we could not stay and sit as we were running late for our movie.
MoreA bit underwhelming and a bit overhyped.I didn't even finish half of my ice cream.boo.
MoreExpect a line, but it moves fairly quick. Great dessert spot in CA. Must tries:* Macaroon Ice Cream Sandwich: My favorites are definitely the red velvet and thai tea sandwiches* Slice of the Blue Velvet Cake
MoreGood froyo
The draw was the blue velvet cake, but the winner of the night was the ice cream sandwiches. Here's what I would say about the food in 140 Twitter characters or less:@bluevelvetcake why do you look so blue (velvet cake)? Full of frosting and sweetness, you fell short since you were a bit dry.@TurkeyBLTCsandwich you are so so yummy. Most people come to Milk for the dessert, I'd return just for you!@icecreamsandwich it is a good idea to put ice cream between cookies, but a genius idea to put ice cream between macaroons! WIN.
MoreIt was closed
I tried coming here yesterday but the line was crazy long at like 10PM. I came back today and there was hardly a line. I orI ordered the Thai Tea Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich and I thought it was pretty good. I've always been curious of how it would taste and I'll admit that they pulled it off. It was a bit sweet but not unbearable. The sandwich was also pretty big!Gotta come back to try the other flavors!
MoreThis shop is a must to go to for everytime you visit Venice! The shop is always clean and they always have new flavors as well as the classics! Sofia, who works there, is always super helpful and she's the main reason why I love this shop!
MoreStood in a long line for ice cream and it was so worth it! Line moved rather quickly. I wanted to try the creme brûlée but didn't see it and I later learned they have it in the pints but it's too late now hahaha none the less the waffle cone was delicious and so was the ice cream!! I devoured two scoops instantly.
MoreThe manger is a rasict person , I felt treated unfair . Literally my experience working for Juan and Clive was a mistake it was a waste of time and effert when I gave nothing but upbeat service .
MoreCool off & stay on your natural routine.
Bad service...but the yogurt is good.
Solid dessert spot. The blue velvet cake is definitely the star of the show. Wish they had a location closer to my house so I could have it more often. The ice cream sandwiches have some unique gimmicky flavors but don't really taste any better than what you'd find elsewhere. The thai iced tea flavor ice cream sandwich was very subtle, didn't really taste much like thai iced tea at all. The grasshopper is a mint flavored ice cream sandwich, so your liking of it will depend on how much you like mint. I also had the peanut butter brownie which was okay, tasted exactly how you'd expect it to taste.
MoreIs not even open. They are renovating I guess???
Very cute delicious desserts. Place is clean. Came there a second time to try out the whole buzz about the blueberry macaron sandwich because last time I went here I tried the thai tea. To be honest I preferred the thai tea and green tea macaron sandwich as far as what I have tasted. The blueberry macaron sandwich was WAY too sweet for me. I would highly recommend the blueberry one to those who have a high sweet tooth but for people who are like me that love semi sweet desserts get the thai tea and the green tea one. Next visit I will try out the pistachio hopefully that ones good.
MoreIt's a yogurt place... I like yogurt, it's a little steep in price, but they all are, at least it's not a chain, I don't think it is at least.
MoreOh my lord.Initially, I wanted to try their cookie ice cream sandwiches, but they're known for their macaroon ice cream sandwiches so I got that instead! I got the Thai Ice flavor and it was reallly good. It was not that sweet, and it actually tasted like thai ice! Besides from that, I got a red velvet mini popper! It was so cute, but I gobbled it up in a second. I will be definitely coming back here again- maybe they'll have a taro macaroon flavor!Service was okay. Took awhile for my friend to get his milkshake, but there was a lot of people. If you go towards the bathroom, you can kinda see them making the shells of the macaroons! pretty cool :) 4.5 stars!
MoreI heard a lot about this place. It was pretty good. Presentation is solid and the deserts will fill you up. I would recommend if you're in the area!
MoreNot many choices in yogurt flavors or toppings, but, polite staff and reasonable prices.
MoreVery clean. The Pina colada was great way to cool down on a hot day.
They are delicious! After a walk on the Boardwalk the best thing that happened to me was to stop for a frozen yogurt! You can put the topics you want, there is everything! The pineapple ice cream was sublime!
MoreThis review won't make a dent but how could you pass up perfectly cooked macrons sandwiching super frozen but creamy ice cream? What a dreammmm biting into that ...ice cream melting and that lasting chewiness from the macrons. DELICIOUS! Great flavors too mmm...
MoreJust passable frozen yogurt in the sea of nonsense that otherwise is the Venice Beach boardwalk.
MoreI had heard great things about Boardwalk Yogurt and wanted to try it out. Who else wouldn't want to combine macaroons and ice cream?! My friend and I ordered 2 macaroons, one red velvet and one Thai iced tea. I would say that the place may have been over-hyped (in my personal opinion) but still very good nonetheless. Both macaroon "crusts" were quite good and had a good crunch to them while still being moist. The ice cream tasted very good and very creamy with a good bite. I gotta say that I enjoyed the Thai iced tea flavor a lot - it tasted like the drink itself! Overall, I'd be more inclined to give it a 3.5 but this is a place one should definitely try out. Little pricey but still worth it.
MoreTop notch and fun
I got the Thai iced tea ice cream which was absolutely amazing!I also got a slice of the 'famous' Blue Velvet Cake. I'm a big fan of red velvet cake and was curious to try it out. Overall, I give it a big "meh". For the price I paid, it wasn't that great and the cake wasn't even very moist. It just tasted like sugar and not really blueberry. In addition, the cupcake I got my friend (their super cute cupcake in a cone) was also dry and not very tasty. Ho hum.Parking is extremely difficult nearby, so good luck with that. I'd probably go back to get some more ice cream!
MoreThe line here is nuts but the food and desserts are just absolutely amazing. Look at a cool hipster part of town nothing better than getting your milk groove on. Sometimes while waiting in line I think to myself why am I waiting so long but then I see. After you take a few bites of this amazingness you'll never want to leave.
MoreOne of the cleanest shots on the Venice board walk. Fair price. Fair selection. Good service.
MoreGood selection of yogurt and toppings
Great
